People always told me I was smart. I wondered. Then, one day I realized what that meant. Thank meant I needed to help others who did not have my same smartness. So, I agree with your principle. And I see love as a giving thing. When I give and when I do I am loving, a person, an animal, life in general. I have a squirrel I take care of as well.

I love your statement: 'Experience does not grant ownership of the circle. It creates an opportunity to serve it." Opportunity to serve is always good.

Thank you, Judy. 🤍

I've come to believe that experience only becomes valuable when it's offered in service of others. Otherwise, it can quietly become a wall instead of a bridge.

One of the things I admire about your own writing is that it shares history in that same spirit—not to impress readers, but to invite them into the story. I think that's a wonderful way to serve. 🌲

I really love this. The whole idea of the fire belonging to everyone, and everyone having a part in tending it, is such a beautiful way to describe community. Not one person needing to have all the answers, not one voice taking over, just people showing up honestly, listening, and making room for each other. We need more circles like this.

Thank you, Andrea. 🤍

I especially love what you added: "making room for each other." I think that's one of the quiet responsibilities of any good community. We don't all bring the same experiences or answers, but we can always make room for another chair around the fire.

I'm grateful you're helping create exactly that kind of circle. 🌲🔥

I'm grateful to be a part of your circle! 😊

And we're grateful you're here, Andrea. 🤍

Every person brings a different story, perspective, and kindness to the fire, and the circle is stronger because of it. Thank you for helping make Timberline what it is. 🌲🔥

If we could go from the triangle to the circle we would find community and care once more and the children would be honoured. 🙏🏻

I so agree. The circle require an inward focus too. Where all the good stuff lives! Thanks for your wisdom Jay. See you at camp 🏕️

Thank you, Kath. 🤍

I love the way you expressed that.

To me, the circle isn't just a different way of organizing ourselves—it's a different way of seeing one another. When everyone has a place, everyone has someone to learn from, someone to care for, and someone who notices when they're missing.

I think that's the kind of community where children don't just grow up—they're truly known and valued. Thank you for adding that beautiful perspective. 🌲
